a sip of white coffee before office hour…

Filed under: no sPecIfiC topic, just wanna write

Here I am, sitting in front of the monitor again with my left hand busy grabbing the coffee glass. I gotta go to the office in about 15 minutes from now.

The annoying thing which been bothering me since last month is that I hardly try to write in Indonesian. Well, the proper Indonesian. It happen everytime that my writing (in Indonesian) will turn out to be short-message-kind of language…for example…I use to write (in daily basis)…I mau k sn skrg instead of aku mau ke sana sekarang…

And, It is really hard to keep on writing the sentences while hearing voices in your own head…gile, jadul banget gaya bahasa-mu or kok kayak karangan waktu jaman smp dulu…

Hopefully I can manage my problem sooner,…

Ok gotta go now…

the late sunday afternoon …

Hi…i’m back again…

It’s a big step for me, rite…two posts in a day…well, i should thank Camelia for the supporting sms…i’ll do my best ^^,sis…

Finally this Sunday wont be as "gloomy" as usual (gloomy = happen to be going as usual, no different thing happened/done…according to me^^) as I went to Gramedia and Lai Lai (kind  of a supermarket in Malang). I bought nothing in Gramedia as i tried to stick to the list, and this time i have no list for books shopping.

I also did the window shopping at Disctara,a cd store beside the Gramedia’s main building, i drooled over the cds of Best of The Cardigan, Destiny’s Child

Thecardigansthebestof and also some Indonesian young jazz singers. Certainly not in the budget of this month’s. I found the Indonesian market package and the International package for the Cardigan’s. The Indonesian one is worth Rp 55.000 (around US$ 5.5) and it only consists of 22 songs which is half of the International package worth of Rp 90.000 (around US$ 9). I think there should be the 1st and 2nd package for the Indonesian market and if they are, they will be worth of Rp 110.000 altogether…ehm, welcome to the business world…it’s surely 100% right what the mommies always told their daughter (at least in my neighbourhood) that it is always cheaper to buy grocery in bigger package.

As the citizens of planet earth are more aware of what they call the global warming, imagine the plastics waste over 2 cd’s if we put it in the cd’s album instead of the case…

Hopefully my blog today will inspire the businessmen-will-be who happen to read this blog, that they should also be responsible to the environment, not only for the sake of the profit sake…agree?

the warming up

Everytime we do every physical exercise, we MUST not skip the warming up session…So do I, with updating this blog thing…this one is obviously the warming up session part…

Today is Sunday, around 12.11 pm and i decide to write something (again…)while i’m still being blunt about (again…)what should i write for this warming up one. Well, it’s not blunt actually, since there are alot of thing running here and there in my mind…okay…i decide to go with the flow…here we go…

I have just read the blog of Bijuk and i should say that i was encouraged by her to write again. I read her posts which came up in the first page, i read all of them. After finishing the final destination i wind up here, also thinking bout what would i be if i took other choices in my past life.

Life, there are a lot of possibilities. I think it is really true that there is an old China proverb that said "Your life is in your own hand". Family, friends, even outsiders sometimes give suggestions, critics, or even ultimatum (ehm…the extreme one), but at the end it is always us alone…to make the choice…

…meanwhile…

I miss chit-chatting with my hi-school bffs (they are more than one person, so i should add the "s")…i wish to have coffee with Camelia (who is doing things in Philladelphia rite now and soon will fly to Chicago), Yui (busy with life in Singapore), San-San (loving the life in Surabaya), and Muliani (running the life between hubby, son (Brian!), and works in Melbourne)…i wish to gather them in my house, sit them around my coffee table, show the our old photos, and talk, talk, talk, about life, love, God, etc, etc, etc….miss you guys…

back to the "now"…

i think the warming up session ended here and i’m ready to do the next session..soon…please catch me if i fall for the next session…(pleaaseee)

The time is not enough really…

For me to enjoy such things this place could offer

It amazed, yet confused me so badly…

How on earth does a thing could be so tempting to go after…

the girl in honeymoon period

I have almost nothing to complain lately…

Early this year, i got a great gift i never thought i would get. I dreamed about it too long until i felt that the arrival time was too sudden. Well, i got a chance to go out from jember…

Some of you who knew me well will smile or laugh or even say the sentence "i’ve told ya" after reading the above paragraph. In reality, i got some short messages congratulated me in getting the "new" life in Malang…did i really that pity when i lived at jember?…

I’ve been living here for almost 3 months…and i still in my "honeymoon" period i guess…i’m so happy spending my weekend with friends or family here, not with tons of dvds anymore (though i gotta admit dat sometimes i miss the dvd’s night…^^)…

i’m so grateful for having funnier and more energetic colleagues here…less office politic, though the office (or should i mention the store…)is far from the word "cozy"…but, it is the mood and feeling that are mattered the most…well, overall, i’m happy…

I jog here every morning. Though until now it is still hard for me to open my eyes up at 4.30 in the morning, i decide to "torture" my eyes to make them collaborate with my desire to get slimmer…kkkk…

So sorry to my far-away friends who can only share stories with me via email,…adi, camelia, jessica, lolita…please forgive the girl in her "honeymoon" period for being so lazy in typing some emails (that’s why i write this blog, to make my duty simpler…hehehe)…thanks for the invention of short message service…

I just hope that after this honeymoon is over…i still have more to explore and do here…

Now, excuse me to go back to my "paradise"…

Rainy season, Heartwarming, Family bounding…

…It’s raining outside. It is now. It comes almost everyday. In the morning, evening, even at late night…

Today is sunday.  It is not an ordinary one for me. There was a family meeting around 1 o’clock. It was raining outside the meeting room. Even my mom’s siblings came all the way from Malang. Only for discussing and solving this problem. Not my personal problem actually, but i believe the problem will leave a prominent trace in any member of the family from now on.

I still remember what my grandma said that we must stick together as we are family and what happen in the family (especially the not-quality-control-passed one)should remain in the family. But this time, we gotta let others know some parts of the problem. Let them judge, let them conclude, let them speak, let them satisfied with their own mind…

Sorry not to mention what the problem is here…It’s just too complicated…

I’m very grateful that it is in the rainy season that this problem finally blew out. Rain helps us not to feel the global warming for a while. Keep on raining please…at least until we’re adapted to the new situation.

One thing that i would not forget is that blood do thicker than water.

A sister visit…

San visited me 2 days a go. Days before she called me several times told me that she stayed at yong’s house for babysitting the babbies of fang-fang and meimei. She described how cute the babbies were, etc, etc. I asked her to come to my house since she never came to the not-so-new-anymore-consider-i-have-been-moved-for-10-mths house. She agreed.

She was at Lisa’s before came here. Calling me from there, I could hear Lisa’s voice over the phone, too. Lisa sounded so happy with Ryu (her first born son).Sigh…motherhood (or should i write maternal instinct??)…could turn any of my not-so-feminine girlfriends into a devoted-stayed-at-home mom…will i be one of the mommies?when?well, que sera sera…

She rang the bell around 4.00 pm, finally. I was so amazed with her hair. She got her hair extension-ed!!!…she even encouraged me to do so. I should admit that she looked different with her below-the-hip hair. It’s so cool!

As usual, we talked over anything!!!from friends, works, families, boys (ehm..errr…read:men…could i write the above 35 years old of the opposite sex as "boys"?, current celebrities gossip, etc.I did really seize the moment. She brought me an Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume and a (ehm) bra as a gift. She handed me the package and said," Well, khat, i should have given these things to you a year and half before. For this long, i put them at Qing’s". She giggled. (FYI: Qing is San’s niece from her mom’s side and it was 2 years a go when she stayed at Qing’s…phewww…)

When finally she went home at 7.30 p.m, i kept on thanking her for her visit and the gifts…actually, i thanked her for giving me more colours in my daily life…well, God trully send us angels in the form of friends…

The Holiday
Sunday October 14th 2007, 12:11 am

Today is the3rd day of my Eid holiday. It’s also the 3rd day of my trial in living my servant’s life. Imagine Nicole Ritchie (without the pregnancy) in "Simple Life", but with the previledge of using internet, watching kabel tv, and free phone service…kkkk…

The pro is that i feel healthier. Why?. I walk, clean things, wash the dishes, water the plants, etc, etc. That makes me feel "alive"…hahaha…The con is that fweeew…kind of tired, after finishing everything, all i wanna do is lying down on my bed, watch dvd, and cannot thing about anything but sleeping!!!!…

Well, i’m very grateful for the chances in my life, not being a person whose job is depending on his physic. Or…the condition that i feel rite now is the result of my lazyness to go to gym?hmhm…sounds so logical…sigh…

The weird thing is that, everytime i do some "physical" job  (remember,i’m in the period of living my servant’s life kkkk…), my writing mood is higher than usual. For example yesterday when i was washing the dishes, i could hear some dogs barking from inside the house of my neighbour. She loves dogs and it seemed that her hobby makes her get a good business right now. Almost everyone in the area who keeps dog and not at home currently seems to let her take care of it. I named her business as pet-shop-in-disguise. At that time, my mood made me wanted to write a post about her. She’s a single mother, hardly ever had guests (except the one who want to consult about his/her dog), but she’s got a friendly face. Always smile when i wave or nod at her. But somehow, i can see loneliness from her eyes. Well, i didnt mean to write about her private life, it’s just the atmosphere around gave me the conclusion. FYI, i only have a neighbour (the closest one).

My youngest uncle’s family will be here soon and so does my bro’s. Hopefully, the holiday wont be as quiet as before. Moreover, i still have a week for lazying around ( after finishing my physical job…)kkkk…
