Thanks to frenster (again)…i finally found kathryn n irma…^^(yippiee…)

(Another)Kat was actually my senior in uni. But, when i decided to join extension class for getting bachelor degree…we’re be in the same class…She’s sooo funny, even at the time when she doesn’t mean to be funny (it’s a compliment, kat)…her voice will always be in my mind (kkkk…).Before getting married n reside in states, she worked in EVA air, Surabaya branch…

The class we joined was consisted of working people, that’s why the class was started at 07.00 pm -09.00 pm…the school also prepared dinner for us…we usually come at 06.00 p.m so that we can have some chit-chats before starting the class…so happy that time…n we always ready to hear kat n ling-ling’s (kat’s bestfren) stories…they’re greaaatttt in telling stories…kkkk…(again…it’s a compliment, kat)

A story from Kat which i never forget n often being told to others is the one when kat n ling visited beijing’s forbidden city…It was winter in beijing, n they walked along one of forbidden city’s square…it was also holiday season, so that people come from anywhere in this universe…then suddenly kat heard a boy voice which seemed to call out her name, "kaaaaaaaaatt…kaaaatttt…", she turned her head over and tried to search the source of that voice…but, in the middle of people…in china…it’s soooo imposible, she thought…then she continued walking with ling…but, the voice called out her name again, this happened until…well, i forgot the exact number…but finally kat n ling reached the souvenir counter…All of sudden, a boy run thru kat n asked her,"kat, is that you???do you still remember me???I was

ur

junior-hi’s fren". Kat looked at the boy’s face n answered, "ooo, it is you who call out my name back there…well, i dun remember your name, but i remember friends usually call u "goat" (=kambing, in indonesian)…kkkkk…i could not hold my tears at the time she told us the story…

Irma…i knew her since junior hi. She’s one of the smartest gals in school, pretty, cute, n got lots of fans…kkkk…Sometimes we did some activities together…went to church, watched movies, etc…mhmhm…but, the point is that…mhmhm…since the 1st time i knew her,i knew that she recognized a little about chinese language, though she’s a huaqiao…but it’s definitely not her fault…let’s put the blame on suharto’s regime (who the teachers in elementary used to teach us that he was our country’s "Development Father")…at dat time…anything related to china or chinese were banned all over…no chinese new year’s celebration, no learning mandarin in school, no chinese school, etc, etc…though we actually did them, as long as we didnt blow them up, it’s okay…

back to irma again…on january 2004, i decided to go back here…give hand to my parents business…irma’s house is in a main street where i always pass it to reach the city center. I planned to visit her house sometimes. Who knew dat she’s home or at least i could meet her mom n ask ’bout irma’s recent address. But in mid 2004, someone told me dat irma has been married n living in china…well it’s okay bout the living-in-china thing…beyond my (or everyone) imagination is that irma married to a chinese man…real chinese, not huaqiao…i’m sooo happyyyyy to find her again…really really happy…^^

Hope we’ll always be fren foreva, gals…n never be "separated" again…n i miss doing things together with u again…^^
